iNK Barrel Video is developing and expanding its newspaper network for online video. The company has developed a video platform and content management system that allows newspapers to post video clips and real-time video streams onto the network. Ubiquitous online delivery of video is creating new consumer habits and dramatically disrupting traditional business paradigms in the television, cable and movie industries. iNK Barrel presumes that newspapers can capture a significant market share of this evolving market by arming itself with strong video production tools and connecting through a nationwide network. The company is in the process of further developing its video platform for live broadcasting and on-demand viewing of events such as high school and college sports, rodeo, political campaigns and other news worthy events. The network will grow through the addition of more newspaper customers, more channels, more visitors, and more video content.
