City Regional Hospital
 Regional Health provides a continuum of care through its hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Regional Health includes Regional Hospitals and Clinics, Regional Medical Clinics, Regional Senior Care, Regional Cancer Care Institute, Regional Heart Doctors, Regional Rehabilitation Institute, and Regional Behavioral Health Center, all serving communities in western South Dakota.
Rapid City Regional Hospital is a not-for-profit regional medical center operated in trust for the community and region by a 12-member Board of Directors who represent the local communities.
The Hospital is licensed for 417 beds and is accredited by two preeminent organizations which are recognized for establishing standards that govern the delivery of quality health care services: the Joint Commission and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
Rapid City Regional Hospital is one of Rapid City's largest employers and it is the region's major medical referral center. Serving a population base of 390,000, Rapid City Regional Hospital provides advanced health care for western South Dakota, and parts of North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming and Nebraska. Rapid City Regional Hospital, along with its Rapid City-based specialty services, (Regional Behavioral Health Center, Regional Cancer Care Institute, Regional Heart Doctors, and Regional Behavioral Health Center,) employs over 2900 people. Over the past several years, the Hospital has added new programs and enhanced various existing services: Cardiovascular Medicine and Surgery, Cancer Care, Home Care, Hospice Care, Diagnostic Imaging, including 64- and 128-slice CT Scanners, MRI and Digital Mammography, Laser Surgery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Dialysis, Stroke Care, Psychiatric Care, Sleep Disorders, and Weight Management and Rehabilitation Programs.
Regional Medical Clinic is a multi-specialty physician group with locations in Rapid City and western South Dakota, and is comprised of more than 60 primary and specialty care physicians. The Rapid City clinics offer medical care in Endocrinology, ENT, General Surgery (including Bariatric,) Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Podiatry, Pulmonology, Sleep Medicine, Travel Medicine and Urology.
