Technology-based Economic Development
 The Western Research Alliance provides a regional forum for individuals,
business, and organizations that are interested in the promotion and facilitation
of research, development, entrepreneurship, and the commercialization of
new technologies. By holding regional meetings, its objectives are to:
- obtain a greater understanding of various research and development
activities being performed in this geographic area,
- provide an opportunity to network with other individuals who share
mutual interests,
- explore ideas for joint research/development projects and related
funding and
- promote enhanced access to venture capital and product marketing.
